Why this verdict

Ukrainian citizens need an ETA for tourist travel to Sri Lanka. As of the 25 May 2026 free tourist ETA scheme, Ukraine is not among the 40 listed free-ETA countries, so the general 'all other countries' ETA fee applies. Sri Lanka's ETA is initially limited to 30 days from arrival and can be extended after arrival through the official immigration system.

Conditional rules

  • Child under 12 years of any nationality ETA required

Up to 30 days. Sri Lanka lists tourist ETA up to 30 days as free for children under 12; extension fees apply beyond 30 days.
