How TravelVisaRules uses analytics, metrics and basic technical logs to keep the site useful, reliable and safe.

TravelVisaRules is a mostly static reference site. We do not offer user accounts, comments, checkout, paid visa services or email newsletters. This page explains the limited technical information that may be processed when you use the site.

1. What we collect

We currently process information only in limited, practical cases:

  • Analytics and metrics: we use Google Analytics and Vercel Web Analytics to understand aggregate site usage, improve UX, performance and content quality, and identify pages that need attention.
  • Technical data: analytics and hosting tools may process device type, browser, language, approximate location, visited pages, interaction events, timestamps and standard technical logs.
  • Direct messages: if you send a correction or other message through an available channel, we receive the information you choose to include in that message.
  • Contact form protection: the contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to reduce spam and posts your name, email, message, page URL and verification token to our contact-form Worker for delivery and abuse prevention.
  • Basic site operations: Vercel may process standard server and network data for hosting, uptime, security, abuse prevention and debugging.

2. What we do not currently do

  • We do not provide accounts or user profiles.
  • We do not ask for passport numbers, payment details, or visa application data.
  • We do not sell visas, immigration services, or personal data.
  • We do not run on-site marketing popups or email-alert signup forms.

3. Why we use the data

  • to understand how people move through the site and improve the user experience
  • to improve performance, stability and accessibility across devices
  • to keep the site secure, available, and abuse-resistant
  • to understand and fix operational problems when they occur
  • to review correction reports or other direct messages when you choose to send them

4. External links

Many pages link to official government immigration, MFA, or e-Visa portals. When you follow those links, you leave TravelVisaRules and the destination site's own privacy and cookie practices apply.

5. Retention

Analytics and technical logs are retained according to the settings and policies of the tools that process them, including Google Analytics, Vercel and Cloudflare Turnstile. Direct correction messages may be retained as part of the editorial audit trail for as long as they remain useful for verifying, fixing, or explaining a published rule.

6. Your choices

You can use browser controls to limit cookies, clear local storage, block analytics scripts or use the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. Some technical processing by hosting providers is necessary for the site to load and remain secure.
