Official visa fees we track
This page lists verified corridors where the dataset stores an official government fee or a free-entry signal. It is not an agent price list. Use the linked corridor page and official source before paying.
What this tracker counts
A row appears here only when the corridor record stores a dated government fee or an explicit free-entry signal. The current paid set covers 2937 rows across 93 destinations; the free set covers 4106 rows. Appointment helpers, courier fees, insurance bundles and agent handling charges are excluded from the baseline.
Why service prices can look much higher
Some visa services disclose the split clearly. In a 9 Jul 2026 check, Sherpa's U.S. passport to India page showed an Indian Tourist eVisa total of USD 57.35, split into a USD 10.35 government fee and a USD 47.00 application service fee. India's official eVisa guidance lists government e-Tourist visa fees separately and notes that bank transaction charges are additional.
A service fee is not automatically wrong; it may pay for form help or handling. The point is that the government amount and the optional service charge should stay separate before you decide where to pay.

How to avoid overpaying
- 1. Start from the government link. Use the corridor page's official source before opening any paid service or appointment helper.
- 2. Match the currency and route. ETA, eVisa, visa-on-arrival and consular visa routes can have different official fees.
- 3. Treat extras as optional until proven. If a checkout bundles handling, courier, form help or insurance, compare it against the dated official fee first.
Exact-host check
Is this portal hostname in our reviewed set?
Paste a site address before paying. This local check compares only the exact hostname with 96 hostnames found in current, official-verified corridor records. It does not visit the site and does not call an unknown address safe, fraudulent or a scam.
Paths and query strings are ignored. Lookalike suffixes and unlisted subdomains never inherit a match.
Enter a public HTTP(S) address to compare its exact hostname with the reviewed set.
A match means only that the exact host appears in our dated corridor evidence. Confirm the destination and route, then open the official source from the relevant corridor before entering data or paying.
