Morocco visa for Ukrainian citizens

Cost note

Consular visa fees are set by the Moroccan diplomatic mission and vary by visa type. The electronic visa (for eligible applicants only) carries a separate online fee of roughly USD 20-30 on the official portal.

What you need

• Ukrainian passport valid at least 6 months from the date of entry
• Short-stay visa application to a Moroccan diplomatic mission (for Ukraine, the consulate serving Ukrainian nationals - currently Warsaw, Poland)
• Passport photos, proof of accommodation, return ticket and sufficient funds
• Applicants eligible for the e-Visa instead apply online via the official acces-maroc.ma portal (see exceptions)

Why this verdict

Morocco is not visa-free for ordinary Ukrainian passport holders, despite some third-party claims to the contrary. The normal route is a consular short-stay visa from a Moroccan diplomatic mission; only travellers who additionally hold a qualifying residence permit or multiple-entry visa from a listed country can switch into Morocco's separate e-Visa channel. Fail-safe: this record keeps the base case (no qualifying third-country document) in the visa-required bucket.

Conditional rules

• Holder of a valid residence permit or multiple-entry visa of the EU/Schengen, USA, UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Norway, Switzerland or Ireland eVisa

  Up to 90 days. Such applicants may use Morocco's electronic visa channel via acces-maroc.ma instead of the ordinary consular route. This is still a qualifying-document exception inside an otherwise visa-required corridor; the supporting residence permit or multiple-entry visa must remain valid for the required period shown by the official portal.
