airside transit: conditional; landside transit: required; BOI says direct air transit through India without leaving specified airport precincts up to 24 hours does not require a transit visa. Leaving the airport precincts, longer transit, non-direct transit or entering India uses the normal visa / eVisa / VoA rule.

• Nigerian ordinary passport
• Regular Indian visa or other official entry permission before travel
• Completed Indian Visa Online regular/paper visa application
• Printed and signed application, passport and supporting documents for the IVAC or Indian Mission
• Return or onward ticket, accommodation and trip-purpose evidence if requested
