Why this verdict
Indian citizens' entry guidance is based on ICA's Singapore entry guidance (ICA visa-required country/region list). SG Arrival Card is not a visa. This guidance is intentionally conservative: ordinary passport, short-term visitor travel only. Work, study, residence, long-term passes, special travel documents, Visa-Free Transit Facility conditions, airline handling and immigration discretion can change the practical answer. Reconfirm on the official source before booking.
Conditional rules
- Work, study, residence or long-term stay Visa required
Short-term visitor entry does not cover work, study, residence or long-term passes.
- Transit or transfer without seeking Singapore immigration clearance Conditional
ICA exempts travellers transiting/transferring through Singapore without seeking immigration clearance from SG Arrival Card submission; entry rules apply if the traveller clears immigration.
- Visa-Free Transit Facility route Conditional
Up to 4 days. ICA says nationals of the Commonwealth of Independent States, India, Turkmenistan and Ukraine may be eligible for the Visa-Free Transit Facility for stays of less than 96 hours if they meet the VFTF conditions.
